Greg Stromsmoe

Greg Stromsmoe was born in September 1962. He graduated from Strathcona Composite High School in 1980. Greg went on to receive a diploma in Survey Technology from NAIT in 1983, and a B.Sc. from the University of Alberta in 1990.

 

Articles were served under Alberta Land Surveyors, Akbar Karsan, Bernie Jess, and Darwin Moss. Commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor was received on December 20th, 1996.

 

The topic of the technical report submitted as part of the qualifying examination was "Well Licensing on Freehold Land."

 

Surveying background includes summer employment with Transport Canada involved in construction surveys from 1981 to 1987; summer employment with Focus Surveys Ltd. from 1988 to 1989; full time with Focus Surveys Ltd. and completion of articling requirements from 1990 to 1996.

 

Leisure activities include snowmobiling, slowpitch, and volleyball.

 

Greg currently works for Focus Surveys Ltd. in their Grande Prairie branch office.
