Roger Ross

Roger Ross was born in London Ontario in July 1964. Upon graduating from Frank Maddock High in Drayton Valley in 1982 he went on to receive a Survey Technology Diploma from SAIT in 1985. In 1994 Roger graduated with a B.Sc., in Surveying Engineering from the University of Calgary.

 

Articles were served under J.W. MacLeod, ALS from August 1994 to January 1996 and under J.D. Wallace, ALS from January 1996 to October 1996. Commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor was received on October 29, 1996.

 

The topic of the technical report submitted as part of the qualifying examination was" Applying Single Point Positioning Techniques Using Precise Ephemeris and Clock Corrections in Areas of Cadastral Surveying."

 

Surveying background includes six years with Shell Canada gaining cadastral and seismic experience and two and one half years employed by Can-Am Surveys Ltd. gaining municipal, engineering, and oilfield experience.

 

Leisure activities include squash, soccer, tennis and hiking.
