Edgar Doctor Robertson

 

E.D. Robertson, Dominion Land Surveyor and Alberta Land Surveyor, died at Victoria, BC, on September 14th, 1952. He was 67.

 

Mr. Robertson was employed for many years by the Alberta government as a district surveyor and engineer with the Department of Public Works. Later, from 1937 until 1946, he was superintendent of Highway Maintenance with that department. He retired from the provincial service in 1946.

Mr. Robertson was president of the Alberta Land Surveyors' Association in
1932 and he continued to maintain his interest in land surveying affairs until his retirement, although he was not latterly actively engaged in surveying work.
