Gordon
MacDonald

Gordon was born at
Senneterre, Quebec in
1965. His parents were
in the military and Gordon was raised at various Pine Tree Lines Stations in
Quebec, Ontario and Labrador before coming to Penhold, Alberta in 1978.
He graduated from Innisfail High School in
1983 and then went on
to receive a diploma in Survey Technology (honours) from SAIT. In
1993, he graduated
with a B.Sc. in Surveying Engineering from the University of Calgary.
Articles were served
under Alberta Land Surveyors W.J. Mintz and N.R.
Woolgar. The topic of the technical report submitted as part of the
qualifying examination was "Treaties and Indian Land Claims in Alberta."
Commission as Alberta Land Surveyor #659 was received on June 18,
1999. Gordon is also a
Canada Lands Surveyor.
Gordon is also a
member of Sheshegwaning First Nations located on Manitoulin Island on Lake
Huron.
Leisure activities
are hockey, skiing, golf, and mountain biking. |
