Henry Heidebrecht

Henry Heidebrecht was born in Lacombe, Alberta in March 1943 and graduated from SAIT’s survey technology program in 1966.
Upon graduation, he joined the Department of Highways in Calgary and worked there for seven years. During this time, he articled to Morley Kolomyjec. In 1971, he received his commission as a Dominion Land Surveyor and then, on June 11, 1973, received his commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor.
About the same time he received his commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor, Mr. Heidebrecht joined the firm of Walker Newby doing municipal survey work. In 1978, he joined Stewart, Weir to do oilfield survey work.
In 1981, Henry Heidebrecht established his own private practice and operated his business until his retirement in 1989.
Mr. Heidebrecht was active in his church and enjoyed gardening.
