Steve Fediow

Stephen Alexander Fediow was born in Montreal, Quebec
in October 1958. He
graduated from Richelieu Valley Regional High School in
1974, obtained a B.A.
in Geography from the University of Calgary in
1981, and a Survey
Diploma (honours) from SAIT in
1990. Stephen obtained
a Masters of Engineering in Geomatics Engineering (M.Eng.) from the
University of Calgary in
1995.
Articles were served under
Stephen H. Nichol, ALS from May
1991 until receiving
his commission on January 7,
1994. The topic of the
technical report submitted as part of the qualifying examination was
"Riparian Rights in Artificially Altered Environments."
Experience in the survey industry involved the Banff
Cadastral Tie Program, irrigational canal right-of-way surveys, City of
Calgary aerial mapping, Alberta Environment flood plane mapping, high
precision survey control networks, and cadastral mapping. Stephen
was employed with Matai Surveys Ltd. upon receiving his commission and later
joined the City of Calgary.
Hobbies and other interests include hiking, mountain
biking, cross country skiing, canoeing, and classical music. |
