Thomas Attwood Davies
Thomas Attwood Davies came to Edmonton about 1907
and, for many years, was an Alberta Land Surveyor and Dominion Land
Surveyor. He left about
1917
for Ottawa and had been in the Department of the Interior.
Mr. Davies was the son of the late Sir Louis Davies, who was Chief
Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada.
In 1931,
Mr. Davies underwent a serious operation. He was unable to shake off the
effects and succumbed some ten days later. He was 50 years old.
