John Christenson

John Walter Christenson was born in Edmonton in August 1927.
 
He attended Scona High School in Edmonton and attending engineering at the University of Alberta in 1947 and later enrolled as an engineer-in-training. He attended land surveying at SAIT in 1949.
 
John Christenson articled to honorary life members Charlie Weir and George Walker and earned his commission on June 13, 1969. He earned his Canada Lands Surveyor designation in 1982.
 
Mr. Christenson’s gained experience in all disciplines of land surveying and was a senior plans examiner in the Surveyor General’s office in Edmonton.
 
He retired as an Alberta Land Surveyor on July 6, 1994.
