1969 - The
Possibilities of a University Survey Program
At the 1969 Annual
General Meeting, the membership enjoyed a presentation on “The Surveyor and The
Law” and Mr. Ted Rippon made a presentation on the day-to-day workings of the
Land Titles Office.
As in past years, the membership discussed the possibilities of a university
survey program. To that end, the membership passed motions asking the
Universities Co-ordinating Council to (1) upgrade and broaden the syllabus to be
equivalent to other professional examinations and (2) encouraging the
establishment of a graduate course in surveying and encouraging the members to
attend.
